‘Nobody looks back and remembers the night they had plenty of sleep’ I think it’s so important to give ourselves time and enjoy things without worrying about the future. In today’s time, I believe students, and people generally are so overworked that even sitting idle to enjoy a cup of coffee feels like time wastage to some.

I joined Amal fellowship because I was free from my exams and wanted to do something productive. But as soon as my articleship started the workload became too much to manage that at the point I thought I would have to dropout from the fellowship. But I made it and this in person meet-up with my fellows made everything worth it.

When I first started the fellowship I didn’t know that we will be having an in person meetup at the end of this fellowship, because if which I always thought that this fellowship will end without meeting everybody, but I am so glad that we had this in person meetup. I think it was very important to have this in person meetup because even though we learn a lot through this fellowship and it’s very productive but there is no denying the fact that there is a lot of workload too which does get difficult to manage, therefore, to de-stress ourselves, this meetup was necessary.

I never thought of this because I find it very difficult to develop friendships but I made such a strong bond with my circle members that will remain forever. Even though all fellows were a bit awkward at first but we settled within no time and then it felt like we all weren’t meeting for the first time. The highlight for me was when we were all sitting after lunch and playing games like school friends, I will forever cherish that moment.

A random video of us playing card games.

Goodbyes are definitely hard, because at the end of the meet-up I did not want to leave, even cried a little, which is a bit dramatic to be honest.

Also, I have to share how Maryam and I were unexpectedly twinning.

I’m looking forward to more meet-ups, especially because I couldn’t meet some of my circle members, and of course our weekly zoom meetings are always there to compensate for the distance we have between us.
